A Scientific Symposium: The Development of Artificial Intelligence and its Impact on the Labor Market and the Future of jobs

On Tuesday, 10/24/2023, the College of Computer and Technology, through the ALECSO Research Chair for Modern Trends in the Information and Communications Technology Industry, organized a scientific symposium entitled “The Development of Artificial Intelligence and its Impact on the Labor Market and the Future of jobs.”
Engineer Ibrahim Al-Waddaf, President of YP Group, Yemen Branch, reviewed an overview of the IEEE Institute and some of its contributions to developing curricula, programs, and academic activities in artificial intelligence.
The topics of the symposium, which was moderated by the Director of the ALECSO Chair, focused on an introduction to artificial intelligence and current innovations in the field of artificial intelligence and its impact on various businesses and industries. Shedding light on the successful uses of artificial intelligence in several fields, as well as the most important challenges and risks facing artificial intelligence
After that, some of the student contributions from members of the Artificial Intelligence Club at the College of Computer and Technology about various artificial intelligence techniques were reviewed The symposium was attended by the university president, a number of faculty members, the dean of the College of Computers, the director of the research chair, department heads, and a number of university students.
