Under the patronage of the President of the Lebanese International University, Dr. Reda Hazimeh, and the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, represented by Dr. Abdul-Aziz Al-Hattar, as well as the IEEE Yemen Branch, an introductory seminar on IEEE was held at the university for the students of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology. The seminar was held on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. The seminar was presented by Mr. Ibrahim Al-Wadhaf, the representative of the IEEE Yemen Student Branch, and Ms. Nesma Al-Khulaidi, a volunteer and member of IEEE.

During the seminar, the students were introduced to the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), how to benefit from the advantages of volunteering for IEEE membership, the services provided, and the activities and events sponsored by the institute. A brief description of the departments and communities was also provided.

The seminar was attended by a number of students and department heads at the university.
