It was delivered by Dr. Yahya Al-Samawi, Dean of the College of Engineering and Intelligent Computing, and Dr. Fawaz Al-Ghafari, Head of the Cybersecurity Department.

At the beginning of the symposium, an introductory overview of the IEEE Institute and the scientific fields and activities it sponsors around the world in various fields of engineering and information technology was presented, as well as the procedures for opening a student branch, in addition to the benefits of membership in the institute. This presentation was presented by Engineer Ibrahim Al-Wadhaf, Chairman of the IEEE YP Group, Yemen Branch.

The symposium was attended by Dr. Mujahid Al-Jabr, President of the Specialized University, along with the University Secretary, Dr. Safwan Al-Jabr, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Adel Al-Shamiri, the Dean of the College of Engineering and Intelligent Computing, department heads, faculty members, and an IEEE representative.
