The Communications and Information Technology Association held today at the University of Yemen and sponsored by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, IEEE Yemen

The scientific symposium entitled (Cyber Vulnerabilities and Methods of Protection)

Delivered by Engineer Hani Al-Khatib, an expert in cybersecurity.

The symposium also presented an overview of the IEEE Institute and the scientific services and activities it sponsors around the world in various fields of engineering and information technology, the advantages of membership in the institute, and the mechanism for opening a student branch. This presentation was presented by Eng. Ibrahim Al-Wadhaf, student representative at the IEEE Institute, Yemen Branch.

The symposium was opened in the presence of the President of the University of Yemen, Prof. Dr. / Hafez Allah Al-Ahmadi, his deputy dean of the College of Engineering and Computer Dr. / Suliman Al-Sahari, and the head of the Information Technology Department, Dr. / Mohammad Al-Ashwal.

The symposium was attended by the President of the Communications Syndicate, Mr. Mohammad Al-Riyashi, Engineer Ibrahim Al-Wadhaf, representative of IEEE Yemen, and a number of professors and students of the Faculty of Engineering and Computer at the University of Yemen.
