The symposium also presented an overview of the IEEE Institute, the scientific fields, and activities that it sponsors around the world in various fields of engineering and information technology, the procedures for opening a student branch, in addition to the advantages of membership in the institute. Where this presentation was presented by Eng. Ibrahim Al-Wadhaf, a student representative at the IEEE Institute, Yemen branch, and Eng. Nesma Al-Khulaidi, an active member of the branch.
The symposium was opened by the President of Azal University for Human Development, Dr. Hussein Saleh Al-Bahji, accompanied by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, Dr. Mokhtar Ghilan.
The symposium was attended by a number of those interested in the field from outside the university, along with heads of departments, faculty members, and students of the Departments of Information Technology and Cybersecurity at the College of Engineering and Information Technology.
