As part of the second summer camp organized by Al-Razi University under the sponsorship of the IEEE Yemen Subsection, an introductory seminar on IEEE was held this morning, Saturday, June 10, 2023. The seminar targeted university students and focused on how to join the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the services and activities it provides, as well as how to activate and establish a student branch at the university. The seminar was attended by the Dean of the College of Computer Science, represented by Dr. Yahya Al-Ashmori, a number of department heads, faculty members, and students of the College of Computer Science. The speakers who gave the seminar were Miss. Sarah Abdalrahman Al-Shqaqi, the secretary of the IEEE Yemen Branch, Mr. Ibrahim Al-Wadhaf, the representative of the IEEE Yemen Student Branch, and Ms. Nesma Al-Khulaidi, a volunteer and active member of IEEE. The meeting also included interventions and inquiries that were answered by the speakers.
