A symposium on current trends of research on the field of artificial intelligence and IoT
A symposium of “Current trends of research in the field of Artificial Intelligence and IoT” has been held on 22 October 2020, 9:00 am – 12 pm, by cooperation between the Faculty of Computer & Information Technology, Saba University and IEEE Yemen Subsection.
Participants: 50
The symposium was started by the Dean’s talk (Dr. Fuaad Abdulrazzak) which has paid participants attention to the importance of these symposiums in increasing the scientific awareness of the faculty’s students and to keep pace with the technological evolution. He then praised the role of IEEE Yemen Subsection in encouraging and motivating researchers in the field of Engineering and Technology.
The Dean’s welcoming talk was followed by a a talk of IEEE Yemen Subsection (Dr. Muneer Al-Mekhlafi) who gave the participants a good introduction to the role of IEEE with its history, aims, local and global scientific activities.
The symposium was then continued with four main speakers namely:
- Artificial intelligence and its importance by Dr. Yousef Al-Haaj.
- Trends of Scientific Research and the Applications of IoT by Dr. Naser Al-Qudami.
3.How social networks feeds Artifical Intelligence by Iman Al-Maqtari.
- Machine Learning in Mobile Applications by Eng. Haitham Ameen.
