On July 4-5, 2021, the International Congress of Advanced Technology and Engineering (ICOTEN 2021) is held and organized by the Yemeni Scientists Research Group (YSRG) and co-organised by Hadhramout University (Yemen) and technically sponsored by IEEE Yemen Sub-Section. The congress includes several international collaborators which are University of the West of Scotland (United Kingdom), Charles Darwin University (Australia) Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (Malaysia), Hassan II University (Morocco), UIN SUSKA Riau (Indonesia), Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (Malaysia), University of Manouba (Tunisia) and Bright Star University (Libya).

The conference proceedings includes 142 papers that discuss several research fields field of technology and engineering. The participants came from Algeria, Australia, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Brunei, China, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Ireland, Italy, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Libya, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Romania, Russia, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Tunisia, United Kingdom, United States and Yemen.

This congress, which is considered the largest scientific event of its kind in Yemen, includes six sub-conferences which are:

International Conference on Advances in Intelligent Computing and Informatics,

International Conference on Advances in Electrical and Electronic Engineering,

International Conference on Advances in Bioscience and Biomedical Engineering,

International Conference on Advances in Environmental Engineering,

International Conference on Advances in Applied Sciences, and

International Conference on Advances in Management and Education Technology.

The congress main themes are: Toward Intelligent Solutions for Societies’ Development Toward Smart; Sustainable Engineering and Environment Enhancing Management; and Education Polices and Technologies in Crises Time. The congress program includes 20 keynote speeches, six parallel sessions for the two days.
